indeed. Plenty to …
indeed. Plenty to oppose.
But don’t paint him as a “communist” because hes proving to be the opposite: a corporatist centrist at heart. Hes is not radical really

first, lets start …
first, lets start by stopping spending our tax dollars on illegal occupations of Mid-East countries
Bush was cutting taxes for the richest, while the middle class get screwed with higher HC insurance premiums, higher cost of living, inflation etc. Plus Bush passed TARP / bailouts.
We both can agree that the status quo of massive lobbyist power has got to stop. Most of the Dem and GOP alike are bought

f-f1: agree, yet it …
f-f1: agree, yet it is bigger then just pandering to various interests by whichever term they are called from season to season. It is just plain theft of the national treasury and excessive taxation to keep the treasury full for the political puppets to hand out to those that keep them in office. What looks needed everywhere is for a “Spartagus” type of “tax-slave” revolt. Nothing will change until people everywhere tell their governments to keep their hands out of the people’s pockets. tj

I was knit-picking …
I was knit-picking a little, but I don’t think socialist or communist ideas comes into play here. Given how much the Tea Party crowd throws the word “communist” around, it’s only fair to challenge its usage.
Yeah, we both have good reason to oppose what Obama’s done so far, but let’s just call it what it is: the pandering to corporate/financial interests that has been the rule in Washington for decades. There’s no ideological motive, there, and no communal interest involved.

T-er: yes, that’s …
T-er: yes, that’s the one, and there are alot more comming after him. Enough “little guys” will knock your sox off. That was just round one. Watch for it round two is right around the corner. Little guys can get big help now and again. They may not win every time, but they just don’t quit. tj

f-f1: English is a …
f-f1: English is a living language. i think, therefore i create, and socio-communist creates a word picture that sort of fits this situation. The communist aspect of the reality is that Mr Obama is buying his way into the NWO royalty with tax payor dollars by bailing out select entities. The big get bigger and we pay for it. As what you say, there really isn’t a completely inclusive term for what is going on with Obama except “theft” of our collective future. tj
November 20th, 2009 at 3:50 pm
I’m pretty sure …
I’m pretty sure socio-communist isn’t a word.
Assuming it was, how do the economic bills currently passed by Obama, such as the bailout that gave trillions of dollars to private entities with little strings attached and no change in ownership, relate to a collectivist agenda?
I think the more proper description here would be “corporate socialism”, although even that isn’t completely inclusive.

the republicans …
the republicans hate the middle and lower class

November 20th, 2009 at 3:50 pm
“The little guy” …
“The little guy” bwahaha, you mean the “little guy” that had the backing of Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin and all the big guns of the Republican party? Is that the “little guy” you’re talking about?

T-er: But still , …
T-er: But still , Victory in Virginia in all the key positions, and a Royal Flush of that New Jersey Nou Veau Royalty Corzine that couldn’t re-buy his position again, even with max help from your demi-god Obama. Taking all that into account, so what if a little place in up-state New York didn’t pull it off. The little guy still made a good run of it. Besides, both parties were afraid of election an accountant. See ya’ll in 2010, Lord willing, we’ll re-establish the rule of Constitutional law. tj

m-ee: “left of …
m-ee: “left of Stalin” may be just a little of an exaggeration, but it is as absurbed to call her a “moderate”. Anyway, i’m glad she is gone. Now Republicans have a chance to re-unite with their base & core conservative values which if they do, will be a solid force against the Obama socio-communist agenda. That is not an exaggeration. Victory in Virginia & New Jersey is a sign of better things to come. Conservatives are awake and comming at you lefties. tj

moment of honesty …
moment of honesty here, whats the deal ? I see progressive dems happy corzine got ousted because he wasn’t progressive enough for them, then I see dems sanctimoniously berating the repubs for abandonning their pick who wasn’t conersavtive …. so who is right and who is wrong ? is there a place for blue dogs and not quite progressive enough folks in the dem party ? if not, then why is it an issue because conservative republicans want to also purge ideological schisms from theirs ?
November 20th, 2009 at 3:50 pm

The quote where he …
The quote where he said “I’m gonna fix health care and the auto industry and then I’m gonna regulate the financial sector while keeping Americans in their homes” you remember that quote dont ya? I do
He’s not qualified to run a jiffy lube, let alone the economy. Presidents aren’t supposed to run the economy, this isn’t a centrally planned economy. YET
November 20th, 2009 at 3:50 pm
please give me the …
please give me the quote where Obama “believes this” or are do you believe that HE believes something lol
when did he claim to be an expert?
further
What about our previous president?
-Starting illegal wars
-Increased the spending
-”FEMA” the evil government thought it knew better “than the private sector” there right?
-Katrina was a swell job by GOP big government
-Bush urged the bailouts you blame Obama for
-INCREASING THE FEDERAL DEBT
So the GOP is just as guilty that’s all I am saying.
November 20th, 2009 at 3:50 pm
lol keep dreaming! …
lol keep dreaming! you have a naive understanding if you think “no one in their right mind” will vote dem. are you familiar with political party strength? Red states are going to lean red, and Blue states will lean blue regardless. a few swing states may change opinion but beyond policy i think the economy is the clincher for most people’s vote. if the economy picks up, Obama will win in 2012. If it stays in the pits, he will have trouble.
November 20th, 2009 at 3:50 pm
The fact that an …
The fact that an individual actually believes that he is an expert at health care, finance, banking, auto manufacturing, and mortgage lending without ever having been employed in the private sector qualifies one as a loon. Not just a loon, an egomaniacal arrogant loon. He not only believes he is an expert in these fields, he believes he is the foremost expert in all these fields and he can fix all these things with government control
November 20th, 2009 at 3:50 pm
So the debacle of …
So the debacle of the 2000 election was nothing.
But a president wins a landslide victory is some how a “loon”.
It is one thing to protest for something or to promote a postive message: all I see on the right is hateful, bashing of Obama and his Administration. Just keep spewing the talking points, its easier than thinking for yourself!
I didn’t vote for Obama, nor agree with him on most issues. But come on man, its not as if these people have anything constructive to say or do, its all bash
November 20th, 2009 at 3:50 pm
left of Stalin???
…
left of Stalin???
Stalin killed millions of people in and out of the USSR.
What did Fava do again? Does she advocate for a Politbureau, a Comintern or a Soviet State?
Good luck with a fringe party of lunatics! If she is left of Stalin, what is “centrist” then?!
