The Big 3 Auto Bailout of That Wasn't There
The Senate shot down the first $15 billion bailout package for the Big Three automakers, thank heaven. We should not bail these companies out, and Congress needs to stop playing armchair CEO and telling these companies that if they do what Congress wants, they will get our taxpayer funds. Congress does not even know how to run our government. So what Congress ought to do is to pass legislation that helps these companies help themselves.
