Chris Cillizza recounts Chris Van Hollen‘s unprecedented success in the 2008 elections and how it precipitated his worst week in Washington in 2010. Dizzying heights can often contribute to a great fall. This is a very insightful post from the Washington Post.
This is really thought-provoking. Enjoy the read… Dr. Vogelmann, Alexandria, VA

Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee said THIS about Ted Kennedy’s Senate seat…“Why would you hand the keys to the car back to the same guys whose policies drove the economy into the ditch and then walked away from the scene of the accident?”
Drove into a ditch and walked away. Why does this have to be about Teddy Kennedy?
It was not a ditch, it was into the water and a woman died that night as Teddy went home and slept it off.
If he is a Democrat and realizes that giving the keys back to the Dems then he may not have a clear view of what is actually going on in the country. Just look what happened in Massachusetts last night!
